ok, so I thought it was iBasso d7's fault but even when plugged directly into MacBook Pro's soundcard, my headphones make like a few short sharp BZZT BZZT BZZT (this will continue for a while, haven't tested unplugged them straight away)
I have Alessandro MS-Pro (modified Grado RS1's), anyone know what's the cause of the problem?

Check to make sure there isn't a hair on the driver. That's usually the culprit for buzzing headphones.
 
EDIT: Is it drastically louder than whatever is playing through the headphones? You might try using them with a different source to see if you still get the noise.

Yeah, it's definitely louder than what I am playing.. 
Tried through both Macbook Pro and iBasso D7
Could it be a cable problem? Hmm

Ohh, the iBasso is a DAC. Silly me.
 
My guess would still be a hair on the driver. Even the smallest hair can cause very loud buzzing.
