I have some great info on upcoming products from Violectric. I need to figure out what I can share and what I can't. Some was in confidentiality and some was not. All I know is that we better start saving up!

I was speaking directly to upper management at the company regarding another matter and I was told about this information of new devices on two separate conversations.

I don't want to draw out out saying what I want to but I own a smartphone news site and in that industry I just leak everything that we get once we verified the information but it doesn't come from direct sources at the company usually 3rd party. So we are not breaking any confidentiality.

If I just blurt everything out all at once then someone comes along and it becomes a Twitter thing or a blog thing. I would rather it just be among users and not a widespread thing because they were nice enough to share information with me.

The V380 thread is pretty dead so I am posting it here.
I have upgraded all op-amps to Burson discrete. Four V6 Vivid single op-amps in the preamp stage of the headphone amplifier and two V7 Vivid duals in the input stage.
Great improvement in timbre and overall realism. Textures are fuller but I think that transients became a little slower.

Agree with you that V222 likes tube signal, as it pairs very well with Lampizator Big7.
I did considered selling v222 and upgrade to V550, but I think I’ll keep it and get a Cayin HA-6A instead. V222 is a keeper indeed

The context is important. As they do Lake People, Violectric and Niimbus new product releases are naturally spread among these, way more between the former two of course and some of that stuff isn't of any interest to the vast majority here like monitor controllers, phono pre, mic pre etc

The other stuff however definitely will be of interest.

So here is some more context from the conversation.


We were speaking specifically about the violectric products. They said specifically that they are going to be releasing three products this year and they were going to be in the fall. So that lines up with the end of Q3 beginning of Q4 time slot.

However, things can change Just like any company might decide to change up what they're doing exactly.


I will say specifically that you are incorrect on your guess regarding the products. I will mention the products in the future. Just not going to blurt this all out all at once.

I have never revealed too much in my lifetime. I understand what goes in behind these things. The time and energy spent. Our company has been trusted with much bigger information before and never let on. A few little tidbits never hurt anyone and sometimes helps. Sharing too much does not help. Anything. I could have shared more but that would go against the confidence of the people I spoke with which I respect and don't plan to burn any bridges over that.If I really wanted to I could have just posted to our site that has millions of followers and readers and leaked it all. It was said in confidence so I just teased it here.
