So I recently picked up a WA3 from a fellow Head-Fier and I'm loving it! When connected to my CD source, there is no issue. However, when using my Sony DAP, there doesn't seem to be enough input voltage for effective use. I have to max out the volume on the player and almost max out the volume on the WA3 to get it to a sufficient listening level. I know that the Fiio E9 has a fixed 2v pre out, which should be more than enough to feed the WA3. I was wondering if A) 2v is too much of an input voltage for the WA3, B) Has anyone done this and what were the results and C) Any other suggestions? I know I can email Woo directly, but I wanted to reach out here first. Plus it might spark an interesting thread. Thanks in advance!
