Uh oh, I should not have discovered this thread, given I've entered one of my periodic analog watch phases! I mainly wear Apple Watches, but I do have a thing for analog watches too. My favorite is the Nomos Glashuette Autobahn. I have a classic Omega Moonwatch too.

Unlike audio, I'm generally not interested in spending a lot of $ on a watch (except for the two watches above) and the whole "luxury" aspect to some watch brands turns me off. And I'm generally not into large or bulky watch sizes. I've noticed that trends seem to be coming back around to smaller watches these days. And it may be a controversial opinion, but I tend not to like infamous or classic watch designs--I prefer watches with something different, some kind of character that's slightly offset.

Lately, I've bee researching so called "microbrands" and I recently purchased a Baltic and a Nodus. Also looking at Brew watches. And I like this Unimatic.

I currently have way too many watches. I mostly dabble in 'affordables' since I sold my Omega Speedy Pro last year. I have at least a dozen up for sale. I'm trying to get down to a tight 30.

I waited nearly 2 months for this one to arrive after ordering in December only to have to ship it back to Germany because the dial had way more defects than I was ok with for $1k.

I was also on a 90's Timex Expedition/Atlantis nostalgia kick earlier this year after being disappointed with their current offering (farthest right).

Also picked up this early 90's non-plastic model.

One day (….I hope soon….), I’ll ween off of smart watches and back onto something wonderfully analog. For now, this is the best smart watch I’ve owned. Garmin Tactix AMOLED.
