My place on the schiit queue has moved up one! Hopefully I will be able to do a bifrost/mojo comparison review. It's certainly a handy, whimsical little device, but ultimately I am not bullish on the portable amp/dac market. If you want portable, make better AirPods ala sennheiser. If you want desktop, invest in a traditional chain. The best I could imagine would be if you already require a dac/amp as in KSE1500. Then, adding in an a lossless chip for streaming and the proprietary code of a really good DAC might make the difference. Having a cable go from phone to dac in my pocket has always been a dreadful experience for me.

I can't even handle wires on portable earphones now. Apple has ruined me.

Wireless 'phones for watching TV at night are awesome. Loved my Senn RS-120. OTOH, not all TVs have headphone jacks :-O

Just started Mike's talk from yesterday. As a non-specialist, a lot of this information is good to hear repeated to me.

Chord Mojo is a nice little device to use while Bifrost is out of commission & awaiting the upgrade system. Clearly a different use case - better for my European travels - but I am generally warm to it. However, the battery powered operation is clearly a poor fit for desktop/living room locations. As with KSE1500, I have to think about charging "yet another" device.

"Late XXXX" is how Apple differentiates between models that were introduced late in the model year. I suspect you knew that but I'm just trying to help.
