Okay guys, this is my early Christmas present to you, secret Santa shopping tip! Two sets from Peter Erskines Lounge Art Ensemble for 5(!) bucks. Only available at Peter Erskines website. It was freezing, the tapes had to be baked to be restored etc. You can read it on the site. These are some of the best recordings I own. Have fun. Dave Carpenter KILLS it here on the bass.

I'm sitting here going through my Basia collection, first starting with Time and Tide (Epic, 1987). Her debut album (Alternate U.S. album cover). She's a Polish singer-songwriter noted for her Latin tinged jazz-pop music...

I've been a fan since getting Time and Tide upon release (still have the vinyl album). I like all her albums as each one has a few songs I really like. Her last studio album was in 2018 (Butterflies) which I don't have (yet).

"Dinner Without Grace" from De/Vision World Without End

De/Vision's debut album is one of the best synthpop albums of the 90s and it holds up very well 3 decades after its release. Both its opening and closing tracks are among the best tracks they've ever released.
