… as a matter of fact, yes … I just listened to the same album today, before seeing your post and am about to post it also.Any fans of John Mayer out there? This album is good for chilling. Mayer's guitar is so bluesy and relaxing. His hoarse voice adds that raspiness that is just intoxicating.

I find Nine Lives to be his best solo album myself. The only Steve Winwood I have - on both vinyl, and CD. In fact, I have the Mobile Fidelity Sound Labs (MFSL) CD edition.
Anyway, I'm always playing Spanish Dancer, and Night Train off it. Love those tunes.
Great Movie, though hard to follow if you're not paying attention. It's actually one of those movies you have to see twice.

Nothing wrong with differing opinions on musicI find Nine Lives to be his best solo album myself.
For me, I only have Arc of a Diver (got it in 1981), and I bought it specifically for Night Train, and Spanish Dancer; both of which I still play to this day

Oh, no, I wasn’t saying anything negative about Arc of a Diver. My post was in response to “the only Steve Winwood I have” both on vinyl and CD. What I was trying to say was that Nine Lives is another good one.Nothing wrong with differing opinions on music

It's a David Lynch movie - you're not gonna get much if you just see it once, that's for sure. Or even twice, for that matter.Great Movie, though hard to follow if you're not paying attention. It's actually one of those movies you have to see twice.
I've seen Mulholland Dr about 10 times so far and always find new things to consider. Same with any Lynch project; that's why I love his work so much - I don't want something easy to follow. I like it because he provides the stimulus, and the viewer can work out their own response or meaning....

LOL- I didn't take it that way, and why I said nothing wrong with differing opinions. That said, given my response I suppose I read it wrong. Sorry.Oh, no, I wasn’t saying anything negative about Arc of a Diver. My post was in response to “the only Steve Winwood I have” both on vinyl and CD. All good
