I was chatting to Anne Wilson at an after-gig party (Heart supported Sammy Hagar or somebody). I was telling her how surprised I was that they were such hard rockers; from the album cover and name, I thought they were a folk duo or something. She said it does look like that, and they hated that album cover and it was forced on them by the record company.

If you are new to Trentmøller, I highly recommend going to this album from 2006 and working your way through his catalog… he’s an absolutely fantastic artist with such diverse influences evident throughout his work. Actually about time I revisit all of his albums!

Thanks, I'll definitely be exploring that album and the rest of his oeuvre!

Didn't know about this one; just ordered it for the live stuff....
Did somebody say "live" Brew-era Miles? Gotta love the band: Chick Corea, Keith Jarrett, Jack DeJohnette, Dave Holland (on electric bass), Gary Bartz, and Airto, all future legends still fresh-faced and in their twenties!

Miles Davis 'Round About Midnight (Mono) (Columbia 1957) Miles's "Acoustic" era. What a great album...

Favs on this are Dear Old Stockholm, check out Paul Chambers' Double-Bass play there, along with Philly Joe Jones on drums. Excellent synergy there. Other favs are
Ah-Leu-cha, Bye Bye Blackbird, and 'Round About Midnight. Really good album here. And especially for headphone fans, again... Dear Old Stockholm :L3000:
