This band reminds me a lot of Snarky Puppy, although I think Michael League's
compositions are more interesting ... should I say more "snarky?"

I like all of Snarky Puppies' albums, and this one is a favorite. Their great
playing combined with the Metropole Orkest makes for very engaging music.

This Patricial Barber Companion album on JVC XRCD is sounding extra special played from the system today. Sounds as if you’re at the venue listening to this live set. Really enjoying my headphone experience here on this system.... Teac CD Player > Pontus DAC > Artemis HPA > HD800S

The vinyl copy of this just arrived so I am listening to the digital version at my desk.

Don't do vinyl anymore so I can't speak there, but the sound quality of the CD version is pretty good. Anyway, my favs on this are Get Lucky, and Lose Yourself to Dance.

I've had that album in my Amazon basket forever, I need to finally go ahead and get it. The only one I have is Empire Central, which I absolutely love.
