I have been looking at getting a decent set of headphones for while now, and I am struggling to choose between the following:

Sennheiser Momentum Over-Ear

AKG K550

V-Moda Crossfade M-100 Over-Ear

I think V-Moda's offer the best features in terms of having detachable cables, large drivers and custom shields, fold-able design and military grade durability. However from what I have read from reviews the sennheieser's might be the better option. Which headphones do you think are the better buy? I normally listen to rock and metal music. If there are headphones out there with similar features to the V-Moda's please let me know.

Look into the Soundmagic HP150s. I would put them in a similar sound class of headphones as the K550s. However, they have a detachable cable and do not suffer from the same fitment issues (some people have trouble getting a good seal on the K550).

The M100s have a lot of bass emphasis in contrast with the K550s and HP150s. Not my choice for rock music. Make sure that's what you want.
