If I would consider upgrading my Shure 215 what would be an upgrade to them? Let's say budget max 300€.

I listen to hardcore techno and pop music and I really like Shure 215, because to me they feel like portable Ultrasone Pro 900. Detachable cable is must to me. I cannot really describe why I like the 215, but it feels like it sounds really fun and have good bass and it good for my kinda music.

Does any one have any suggestions?

I tried to looking at

but there are just so many of them and I cannot really be sure which would be right.

I say: the Shure SE535LTD?

I owned both the SE535LTD-J and SE215 before, definitely the SE535LTD-J sounds better.
Of course, the SE535LTD-J also looks better, that red color...

Too expensive unfortunately.

To mention another brand - the Fidue A83 is pretty knockout.

These interest me, are they fun to listen to? For some reason I cannot put a word what I like about th 215, but they just sound fun with my kinda music, which is again hardcore techno, pop and little bit of metal. I read some reviews about these and they seem interesting, but are there any other options out there which are similar sounding or overall similar.

In my opinion the A83 is the most fun earphone in that price range, but here's a couple more.

If you want to save some cash the A83's little brother A73 is excellent -

And the Aurisonics Rockets are a bit more neutral but are very good. You'll require a pair of earhooks from somewhere as the cable noise/microphonics is an issue. They probably stray away from your 'fun' requirement but I'll add them here for your metal requirement.

If I were you the A83 (or A73) is the one to go for.

Currently it feels like A83 are the only good option out there, but I have heard that they have durability issues, so how do you feel about that?

Sorry about the pause!

We've sold a fair few of A83s and one or two have come back with cable/connection problems to do with the removeable cable, but no more than with any other model.

I see. In the end yesterday I ordered A83 from somewhere, when they arrive in few weeks I'll be excited to hear them! Thanks for helping.
