I really love my Beyer DT 1990 headphones but I do experience fatigue after a short while and I also find them a bit physically uncomfortable (not the clamp force, but I think I have large ears?).

I've wanted to try Sennheiser headphones so can anybody recommend me something with similar detail to the DT 1990 but with less fatigue and I can listen to for longer periods of time?

I would even consider the HD 800S but I've heard they have treble peaks and they are darn expensive...

i didn't try the 800s by my self but i have heard they work very well with EQ if that is aceptable for you
