Hello Head-Fi! I need your help identifying this Grado SR60! The seller described it as vintage, but I'm not too familiar with the vintage Grado lineup. I would like to know the differences between this model and the current SR60.
 
I have heard that some of the older Grado SR60 headphones have pink drivers. Are those the pink "transition" drivers that are also used in the SR100/SR200/SR325? Will these Grado SR60 headphones have them?
 
I think the headband may be different from the current headband. Maybe that'll help?

Which color is the netting that covers the drivers? is it white like the current models?

The headband appears rather tatered and the foam cups orange, like aged yellow Sennhieser pads. I think the seller is confusing "vintage" with "old and beatup".

I'm pretty sure it's vintage.
 
It has the leather band that the older Grado headphones had.
 
I haven't received them yet, so I don't know what the driver screen is like.

The pads turn that color as they age. Perfect time to buy flats
 
That headband looks a lot like the headband that came with my black SR325 and my SR-200 both of which are quite old. They were both plastic although it was a much stiffer plastic than what Grado uses now. Incidentally, I have seen several very old SR60 that use a headband very very similar to the current one.
