The K81DJ's for sure. One, they're very tight fitting and pressed uncomfortably hard on my ears; two they sound like this:

This pair I got from te op shop once, tey looked cool and were nice and heavy.
But they sounded like a telephone and ad cold bits on my ear.
Sonys had always been good to me for the low price. I reckon out of $30AU headphones sony had the best shape and bass.

The Zalmans are pretty bad. Had those at the same time as my ESP9.

Worst headphone ever is the Lloytron AM/FM radio headphone. The product was sold under a whole selection of names.

Vivanco SR950.

Costed 35€ at Ebay and provided no mentionable soundscape, recessed bass and treble, forward mids (fatigue!) and almost no detailing. Ugly cheap plastic.

Ha! Me too. Sound wasn't that bad... compared to the earbuds I was using at the time. The feel of those awful, fidgety foam earplugs raping my ear canals... I'll never forget. Never forgive.

My Audio Technica ATH-M20s.
Some nutjob advised them to me as a balanced set I could use for monitoring. But like a lot of current headphones, they have WAY more bass than is realistic.

I feel like after bose the manufacturers have become allergic to keeping a realistic level of bass. And I'm not at all surprised, given all the bass, that there are sound designers who lose their high frequency hearing. :frowning2:
