I purposely wrote "power tool" and not just "tool" to hopefully side-step sophomoric replies. I know - I failed.

I just used the power-washer on my deck (long story), and I have to say it's the best tool I've ever purchased. The chainsaw might be more fun, but the power washer gets used more than any other power tool I own.

What's your favorite?

Tools I use the most:

- 15 watt Rat Shack Iron & Stand
- Copper Mesh Scrubber (I know it's not power, but used a lot)
- IKEA 20watt Halogen Desk Lamp (not a tool, but a must for me)
- Dremel 395
- General 6" Digital Caliper

I like using the angle grinder at work...and the welder ain't too bad either, although I suck at it.

I also get to use a crusher at work...that's pretty fun. Within a few weeks we'll be bailing whole car shells

We did a bunch of renovations when we bought this house, and I would have to say that the shop-vac and the crowbar were the MVP tools. Mitre saw gets an honourable mention.

Your own private CNC Milling Machine. That beat most of our power tools...

my Jigsaw.

I can use it for everything including aluminum - I can make straight lines - like a table saw with guides - I can do perfect curves - I can start in the middle of a board / sheet of ply / mdf . . . it's come in VERY handy.
