Audio-Technica ATH-W1000X

Sometimes I´ve been searching for them just to notice they´re on my ears already. :D Obviously they´re not the most mobile headphones because of the relatively light clamping.

To me the Sony MDR-F1 is without a doubt the most comfortable pair of headphones I've ever had. The SA-5000 is pretty comfy as well, but still not even close to the F1.

The AKG K702s with their huge felt pads and lots of air around the ears. I have never felt the bumps on the headband to be a problem either.

Okay, I'll say it! I found the Grado Prestige series with the plastic housings and using bowls to be the most comfortable. I have small ears and never had an issue with them. They're so light I almost forget they're on. The cable never got in the way. Just very comfy.

The Grado HF-2 with jumbos was a close second. Even though they're heavier, the jumbo pads distributed the weight well.

My well broken in K-701 has been comfortable.

I have a comfort issue with the HE-5LE. I always know I'm wearing them. The way the cable is attached to the housing makes the coupling stick out and hits against my shoulder and pinches the cable. I then have to adjust it so the headband lays on the back portion of my head. Not the ideal comfort spot. They sound great so... LoL

Beyer DT880(600).  I love the soft fuzzy(velvet like) padding.  Its not like my 650, which feel like vicegrips on my head.

+1 - all points.

Yup... The Beyers are like slippers (that the dog hasn't chewed!).

DT770 Pros. I had the Premium DT880, and I felt it to be a little too loose for my liking, though the pads are softer. The 770 Pros just do everything right. Comfort, fit, and perfect clamp.

XB700. I can wear them for many hours on end without any discomfort.

HD650 - too much clamping force if it is straight out from the box, and another issue - ears are getting hot.

AH-D7000 - the most comfortable so far, but still after some time its getting hot around ears.

AKG K1000 - no issue regarding heat (doh), but those spikes ... ooh makes me feel my arteries.
