I am asking how did you even come up w/ idea of them changing colors?

For silver, they'd have to go back to their 25th anniversary.

I just figured the gold was something special for their 50th Anniversary. If they continue to sell it after that, it isn't so special. Knowing Grado and their frequent product line changes, they will be selling the gold SR325i for the next decade or so. Maybe for their 60th anniversary they will try something in ceramic?
