digi-key and mouser. They are large suppliers for the electronics industry. They have quality parts for reasonable prices. They are not an audio boutique or anything resistors are resistors.
To make things easier for ya, here are some places I have found. I have not bought from them all, but have seen many of them recommended on head-fi before.
Altronics in australia is silly cheap and I believe they ship internationally very cheaply in bundles. If you are overseas you can get things cheaper than chips, including chips!
I'm not sure what sort of quality are available for international order. To my knowledge their store only advertises the generic on the site but theres a large selection in store.

Well, yes, and carbon comp ones change value as they get warmer. Eventually, they stay at a different value. You're better off using ones that don't drift. They're not expensive, either. My advice is to go for 1% tolerance and 105C temperature rating.
You can find Neutrik jacks at Redco, Antique Electronic Supply has good stuff, and I love Nebraska Surplus for all their cool goodies. Michael Percy Audio has boutique components you might like, too.
