I'm going on trip over few cities in summer - Kuala Lumpur, Singapore, Hong Kong, Shenzhen and Tokyo. I would like to use this as opportunity to try some high-end IEMs mainly customs, that are not available in Europe. Can you guys please gives me tips for some shops that has customs for auditions in these cities? I will have most free time in Shenzhen, China, any tips there?
 
Also do you know, if any custom manufacturers has their workshop in these cities? I know Advanced AcousticWerkes should be located in Singapore and Ler in Hong Kong.

just bring your tent and camp in Adelphi level one AV One and jaben got tons of CIEMs for audition.
plus stereo, E1, music sanctuary and null audio you can find almost all popular CIEM brands here in SG.
 
I think UM's lab is somewhere near Shenzhen?

In Hong Kong the hmv stores are nice. Lots of options to try. The causeway bay one is good.

I will be in Singapore just for short time and mostly over weekend, so my priority would be to stop by AAW and hopefuly make it into interesting article for our Czech hi-fi website.
 
Shenzhen would be best for me. I found out there should be Jaben in Shenzhen, so that will be one of my stops. Will try to send them email asking how is it with their range of products.

I just googled a bit, there's actually a bridge to the north so if you get a car it's ~150km ride.
you may want to ask some guy who has been there before
