Which Headphone is next on your "To Buy" list?

Yes. It's the most clear sounding closed-back I've ever heard.
I want one so bad but I think I'm looking more into $1k open backs to pair with my Burson Audio Play, which is the first desktop amp/DAC I've ever owned. Hearing how it's awoken my 10 year old 250ohm DT880 has made me want something a step above the DT880. So I'm considering a DT1990, LCD-2C, Amiron, HD660S, things of that nature.

I haven't heard the LCD-2C, but the LCD-3 and LCD-4 were pretty boring to me and didn't sound all that transparent. The best I've heard are all electrostatics. The best non-electrostatic headphones I've heard are the Meze Empyrion, Focal Utopia, and Sony IER-Z1R. In second place I'd put HD800S, MDR-Z1R, and LCD-4.

I'm quite happy where I currently sit.
(250 ohm beyerdynamic DT 250, beyerdynamic DT 1990 Pro, beyerdynamic Amiron home, custom Grado headphone w/early SR325 cups and Symphones Magnum V8 drivers, custom Grado type headphone w/ Rholupat Mahogany cups and Nhoord Red v2 drivers, & LZ-A4 IEM's).

I think if I found an E-MU Teak for a good price I'd jump on it. This is the only headphone that I'm at all interested in trying out now.

Sony MDR Z1R. If I can resist the temptation to buy any other audio equipment, I should have the $1,600 (USD) required to buy one from amazon in 2 months. Once I get the MDR Z1R, I will most likely retire from this hobby, however there is a part of me that wants to try out one of the high-end planar magnetic headphones..It won't be a Hifiman though, from what I read, Hifiman headphones seem like a gigantic waste of money. I'm thinking maybe an Audeze LCD2, Acoustic Research AR-H1 or the Quad ERA-1. The Quad ERA-1 seems like great value.
I now have that 1 Planar headphone I wanted, though it's none of the ones I mentioned above. I seen the Fostex TH500RP on Amazon UK for $400 USD (£290) and at that price couldn't resist. So I can now tick that one off my list. Up next; Sony MDR Z7 Mk2 (I've decided I can't be bothered to wait a further 2 months until I can buy the MDR Z1R, lol) and Fostex T40RP. Once I have those 2 I shall call it a day.

Well, I've been on a hardcore IEM search these past few months. I'm selling my E4000 (to afford an upgrade) and already replaced the Planamic with the FH5 (which I only got because I enjoyed the FH1 so much with a bluetooth cable).

Over-ear: Ether CX. Patience, young padawan.
IEM: Final Audio E5000. This one I'm excited for, as I do quite love the E4000.

I’d like to audition some of new TOTL headphones, I’ve owned some of the older top tiers and just curious about them

This year: listen to E2 and Arya, really like one, buy it. Keep an eye on used equipment (HFM HEKse...)

Hit the jackpot: Voce or perhaps the Raal.
