Which of these headphones should I buy?

The Sony MDT-XB500 are pretty well regarded if you want to check those out.

Actually there are just as many haters of this headphone as there are lovers.
It is probably the bassiest headphone under $100 and is basically a similar-to-but-better-than-beats sound, but at the right price. But if you're a basshead, you can't go wrong for the price.

The more common (consumer) best valued headphones include:
Koss Portapro - good sound but doesn't isolate - very portable.
Senn HD419 is actually rather good for the price, but seems a tad flimsy.
Panasonic RP-HTX7 (vintage look but brilliant comfort and isolation)

There are others, but these are the ones I've actually heard that I feel have a good return for your money. I won't suggest anything I havn't personally listened to.

Why don't you list the criteria that you're looking to meet with this hp and list your budget? That would help in terms of offering suggestions.

Open or closed.

Bass heavy, neutral or bright.

On ear or around ear.

Portable or home use.

Easy to drive or needs an amp.

Just for starters...

I would go with these:

http://www.amazon.com/Yamaha-HPH-200BL-Headphone/dp/B00591GIQK/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1369594666&sr=8-1&keywords=HPH-200
They sometimes can be had for $99.

But, they are open, so in the bus you might not be the best friend of your fellow passengers.....

+1 for the Koss Porta Pro's great sound but they leak noise in and out.

I would suggest the JVC HA-S500's from Japan, they are a great everything headphone and very portable.

Here is the 440+ page thread about them.

True that on the Koss Porta Pro's, I forgot about those. The Sony's are fairly well regarded overall, but it is true that they are bass heavy. Just give your parameters and the best headphone in that price range will provided to you.
