Just did a quick video review of these headphones.  Hope it helps with your buying decisions.

Nice video man. I also enjoy your unboxing videos quite a bit.
 
As for the headphones, I do like the T1 more then the HD800. I find the HD800 to sound artificial with it's large soundstage. Also the elevated treble doe not help at all.

Yeah, I do love my T1 a lot. It's never leaving my stable at all! Can't get enough of it's sound signature. It just sounds more realistic than the HD800 does to my ears.

This video has brought me dangerously closer to pulling the trigger on the HD800. Only thing countering that urge is the suspicion my rig won't do it justice and I can't be bothered with a complete rebuild at this stage. That T1 looks enticing as well. Curse you Head-Fi!

Thanks for the video. I have a T1 and am debating whether to get an HD800 as well. It's just tough to choice without having even heard the HD800. The video was nice but didn't things much easier for me.

The HD800 doesn't sound the same as the T1 at all. It's a tad colder sounding, brighter, less involving mids, and less bass. The soundstage is the main redeeming quality of this headphone in comparison to the T1, in my opinion that is. I can't make myself love the HD800 at all..
