I have had an Astell & Kern Jr. DAP for a while and love it. I just received an Audeze isine 20 to pair with it. It sounds pretty good, but I was wondering if I would benefit using a portable amp with it. I listen mostly to jazz, and lean towards V-shaped signatures, like my Fostex TH900.

Yeah, I'll probably evaluate my new combination for a while by themselves. But, you know us audioPhools are always trying to improve, whether something needs it or not. Maybe I can borrow one and try it to see if it makes a difference.
