I cannot find a headphone impedance specification anywhere for my AVR-e300 and was wondering if it would drive a pair of beyer 880 250 ohms.
Will my Denon AVR-e300 drive a pair of beyerdynamic 880's (250 ohm)?

Better to stay under the 250ohm impedance, just to be safe.

The beyer DT880 250 Ohm have a sensitivity of 96 dB/mW.
To get 115 dBSPL of loudness an amp will need to provide 79 mW of power and 4.5 volts RMS or 12.6 volts peak to peak. The AVR-E300 will have not problems delivering the 79mW of power, but the 12.6 volts peak to peak is quite high. As suggested by Fabio-fi going with the 32 Ohm version drops the voltage down to 4.5 volts peak to peak which is much more realistic.
Of course 115dBSPL was used because some classical pieces may require this level of loudness to sound their best.
Using a more reasonable SPL of 105dB even the 250 Ohm DT880 will only require 4 volts peak to peak. The AVR-E300 should have no problems delivering pretty darn loud listening levels even with the 250 Ohm DT880.
