One of my KR2A3 HP tubes just gone bad, should I replaced them all (4 tubes) or just one that just gone bad?

Has anyone used a preamp with the wa33?

Anyone tried a 300B preamp?

(Just curious to see what peoples' opinions/experiences are )
I tried it with my 3ES Elite as a pre to my WA33 EE JPS. I didn't notice much of a difference at all. I think it's too many tubes at this point

Sorry if this has been asked before but there's so many posts about Elite its hard to find this question. How close does a WA33 SE with upgraded tubes get to a WA33 Elite on stock tubes?

Have you hear the WA33 Elite w/stock tubes?
Yes in a quiet show room, best amp I've ever heard. Never heard the regular WA33.

I've never heard any iteration other than the WA33 Standard Edition--which I've owned since ~'18 and was only without for ~2months.
I use all upgraded tubes in my WA33 and have no desire whatsoever to try any other iteration due to my WA33 completely satisfying my tastes.
I originally demoed it in home on my gear w/stock tubes and knew immediately I was going to buy it. If you're considering a WA33 SE I really don't think you'll be disappointed, at all.

Assuming you paid ~$2k + tax for a BNIB quad--if 1 tube fails and you replace them with a quad each time, you'd be wasting a substantial amount of money. I'd definitely be buying 1 tube and calling it a day.

Yeah I know, I never really thought about this. This makes me think twice before buying the expensive one. Fortunately the stock tubes sound is not bad at all.
