It is noisy but not ground noise, it is noise floor that reduces with higher impedance headphones, completely disappears with 600 ohm dt880 but persists with 300 ohm sennheisers

Does your transformer have a ground pin? I think I have a transformer in my house somewhere I had purchased for a similar device previously but it doesn't have a ground pin.
