New Focal, Susvara, Abyss Diana Phi.

A properly driven Susvara is an incredible listening experience. I love mine. But whenever I go back to my Utopia's I realize how just how good of a dynamic headphone this is

What DACs are some of you lucky enough to have your Verite now running? Have you tried different DACs?

I recently picked up a used Benchmark 3 to see if I was more of a Subjective lover with my Yggy or if I preferred the objective D/S of Benchmark. The utopias sounded a hell of a lot better on the Benchmark than the Yggy, where as the HD800S sounded like crap on the Benchmark but amazing on the Yggy. Been going back and forth between the two a ton, can only imagine I'll be doing it a lot more with the Verite, and I'm looking very forward to it.

PS Audio Directstream DAC. I don't believe I have heard the Benchmark. I have listened to the Yggy many times and found it too dry and harsh for my ears. YMMV!

Yep DAC's make a huge difference. And pairing the dac with the amp can be more.
