Yup, because the driver too small (14.2mm), if use straight down will easily get pulled down. but it doesn't come out of the ear, it just changes the seal in the ear which results in reduced bass. but if you use it over ear, it won't be easily pulled out of your ear easily. mmcx has different diameter in the market... i already make shell with mmcx + basstube. but different model in my case i didnt put nylon mesh/filter inside the shell to block the basstube hole.. unless u design the tube with >1.9mm diameter. all of my design has <1.9mm.. around 1.7mm-1.8mm is...- sunsun89

hi, just want to share another my DIY earbud. this time i color it with pink color. using crepe paper then boil it with hot water until the color come out. i soak the shell around 20 min, and finish it with clear color resin to make it glossy.- sunsun89

you need to buy 12V3A DC adapter, then use dc to USB type C to connect as a Power supply.. your problem happen because lack of power.. why i know? because i encounter the same problem like yours.. u cant use Handphone adapter as Power supply.- sunsun89

if u use batt mode, the unit will get hotter.. maybe because the battery heats up especially in turbo mode. well in my country, room temp is about 28-29 C / 82.4-84.2 F, while outdoor temp around 30-32 C/ 86-89 F- sunsun89

yeah i do.. because i try both ESS and AKM to suit my sound preference... only 15min (TURBO MODE) each dac, then immediately swap it.. thats why i notice the dac module heats up.. but if u guys only use in eco and normal mode, the dac not heat that much u can try thermal pad if thermal paste...- sunsun89
