Connect wired 3.5mm microphone to a Bluetooth device that has a built in mic?
One of the best cheap ways to get music in your car is to use the 3.5mm output of a bluetooth receiver dongle. Something like this, for example https://www.aptx.com/products/ugreen-bluetooth-receiver-audio-adapter This has the advantage of you not being tied your car's terrible bluetooth...- cloneman

Bluetooth Receiver with Wired mic (e.g. 3.5mm)?
There are a lot of bluetooth receivers that output to 3.5mm, in order to make wired headphones wireless. However, most of these feature a built-in microphone, often of average quality. I would like one that has a 3.5mm port that can pass through a microphone that's id tape to my headphones. The...- cloneman

Help - How the eardrum moves: Bass vs Treble, Sealed vs Non-Sealed IEM
Hi everyone: I am trying to prove that people with Tympanostomy_tubes surgically installed in their eardrum (to relieve pressure or drain liquid from the middle ear), should be avoiding certain types of ear-sealing headphones, or certain types of bass. Most of the people who get this minor...- cloneman

allergic to audiophile grade stuff?
It seems every time I pick up something in the 150$+ wired range I'm disappointed. Granted, I don't have many opportunities to use said equipment, mainly because I'm super satisfied with 50$ wired equivalents, things like the Jaybird X2, the Koss Portapro, Logitech UE 4000, SteelSeries H...- cloneman

Koss Portapro Replacement - another PORTABLE headphone please (extreme basshead)
Hello, I tried getting some full-size headphones to upgrade my current setup of Fiio E5 + Koss Portapro. After trying DT770pro/80ohm, (insufficient bass), and MDR-XB700 (enough bass, but of the wrong "type") i've decided that full-size headphones are not for me (at least, not for music...- cloneman

A bit of a n00b question here... What I'm looking for is perhaps a USB or FIREWIRE device that will: - be a high end sound card - provide amplification for high end headphones (replace a portable amplifier?) - Provide various inputs so I can switch quickly between my computer's sound and...- cloneman

Looking for: Headphones with too much Bass
Hello, A bit of a headphone noob - read a few guides here, most seem to focus on overall sound quality and "even" response to the source. I basically listen to eurodance all the time , throw in a few 80s now and then, and every now and then the flavors of the month on FM radio. I'll be...- cloneman

Koss TNT-55 Rare headphones, my favorites
I received these after sending a different model in for warranty. Initially I was angry, thinking I got short changed, but these are the best phones I've ever used! I should say I've never used anything over 100$. My previous favs were the PortaPros, but I like these better - they...- cloneman
