I just got an esoteric x-01 for my headphone system, but it seems too good for a headphone system. I felt my headphone and amp combo can't handle the signals from the cd player. Has anybody has a good headphone system setup with esoteric digital source would share your setup?

Esoteric D-07 vs Weiss DAC 202 , which is better. Also, must I get a Macbook to output through firewire? Is there any adaptor available for the iphone 4 or ipad which allows me to output music from the iThing and connect it to the DAC? Many thanks!
