My worry is the battery, first 1h30min it took 20% battery life.
Yes, this is absolutely normal. If the battery is 100% charged. Then 80% will be in about 1 hours. Starting at approximately 70%, the battery will discharge much more slowly and 1% and turn off after about 7.5-8 hours of listening. The battery rather discharges evenly, it's just that the BMS board is weird. He lies.

Thank you, so all good than :) Now 2.5h of play and still 70%.
As new to the device, I can report that Tidal/qobuz speed is ok. Not Samsung s24 speed for sure, but good enough. And my experience with fast CPUs in smartphones is... they just drain battery faster, so here we have CPU on the limit lets say, but that will allow longer playback ,so methinks it is matter of balance done by AK rather than savings. I rather have longer play time, than fast snappy UI and 6h of play.

/edit
After 4h, battery still have 60% of juice, so you are correct it is slowing down. It might even go 10h+ as advertised.

How do you do it?
My iPhone AK Connect app does not see the SE300. I have WiFi and AK Connect turned on.
The only things shown in the library tab are my device:iPhone and Tidal. In the speaker tab the only entry is my device:iPhone.
You need your iPhone and se300 to be connected to the same wi-fi, then click search in the AK Connect app on your iPhone and then click where the circles are and select as shown in the screenshot

Thanks.
It took some time but eventually the SE300 appeared in the list. However after about 5 minutes it disappeared again!
Also we need the app updated to allow gapless playback and also to show Qobuz not just Tidal.

Yes, I have tested all Qobuz versions between 7.12.x and 7.14.2.0, and I also have the latest SE300 firmware update 1.12CM.

I have just reset the SE300 to factory settings, installed the Qobuz version 7.13.0.0 suggested under "Downloads" and downloaded 2 high-resolution albums. The first test with just the SE300 is still error-free after 10 minutes. This evening I will also test the LO mode (4V). We'll see if everything runs smoothly then.

I have now selected the file URIs without "emulated" in the Qobuz settings for the offline files. I don't know if that plays a role?!
After the factory reset (firmware 1.12CM) and installation of the older Qobuz version 7.13.0.0 suggested by SE300 under "Downloads" and using the non-"emulated" storage locations for Qobuz offline files, I no longer have any dropouts in Qobuz offline mode. With the exception of one 192 kHz album, where removing and re-downloading the offline files solved the problem.

Apparently, however, the SE300 is at its limit with such high-resolution files. The dropouts in Qobuz offline mode either occur during download or only during playback. In the above-mentioned case, the malfunction apparently already occurred during the download. However, this is absolutely incomprehensible, as developers normally test such downloads for correctness with checksums.

In any case, Qobuz now works again in offline mode and I can enjoy the great sound of the SE300.

Did get an update last night, but there was not much information other than the R&D team is working on the issue and will let me know when a firmware update is ready for the fix.

If you are looking for both Tidal and Qobuz, I would suggest checking out mConnect. It is available for both iOS and Android phones/tablets. It's the program that I typically use instead of AK Connect. Actually, since AK Connect on the player is compatible with DLNA protocol, any DLNA-based app will work with AK players. mConnect just happens to be one of my personal favorite and a bit more robust than the AK Connect app. The free version works fine, the paid version removes ads and adds some additional features ($5.99 here in the US for the paid version).

Thank you.
Do you mean the AK app is being deprecated and will not be updated?

There currently are no plans to integrate Qobuz into the app. I've used mConnect for years, even before the AK Connect app was released, so I am a bit bias on mConnect. I always felt AK Connect was lacking compared to the added features of mConnect.
