I'm going to get a Burson v5-i... same thing without the dodginess.

Ordered an Oracle II-02. Give it a shot.

Still poking around for info on all these things.
This guy describes the sound as thin, bright, detailed and seriously lacking in bass:

I've ordered them from this French company https://www.audiophonics.fr/en/opa/oracle-ii-02-discrete-dual-opa-dip8-unit-p-17535.html and arrived in 3 days. Comparing with the NE5532 on the Fosi V3 I feel a more pleasantly bass and wide channel separation. No hiss or unpleasant sibilance as mentioned by some. Might it be there are different batches around ?

So after a few days enjoying the Fosi Audio V3 with OracleII 02, the pre amp Fosi Audio P1 arrived - exchanged op amps for JRC5532dd without even giving a try to test the TI NE5532 stock ones. Combination is excellent and P1 enhances the combo. Now, I've ordered 2 cheaper 5654 tubes to give it a try and damn, awful distorted sound - I didn't search correctly and these are for sure bad copies of the good GE5654 NOS (USA made)-returning them to Amazon. The stock Chinese 6K4 perform well, though I don't have any others to compare, I'll probably go on safe side and order the GE5654 from Fosi site, as everyone saying it will make quite a change. Also planning to change a few film capacitors for Wima ones as suggested by people who have done it.
