Well, the sound is great but my pair of FH1 are having QC issues. I cannot get the right earpiece to stay connected to the MMCX cable. Both the balanced and single ended cables will not stay attached to the right earpiece. Even a third party cable has issues. Left earpiece is fine, but the right earpiece just wont stay on. Pretty disappointing.
Seems replugging fails to help with the issue? What about switching the unit, the issue also happens in right unit, right? Sorry for bringing that inconvenience to you. We will report to our colleague about that. You may try to contact your seller for check or replacement.
Same thing happened with the first batch of F5s. My entire RMA process will perhaps take 4 months, three and a half and counting (thanks to the efficient postal system of our respective countries)
Just came home to my pair of FH1s. Initial impressions are extremely positive. Warm, smooth sound with a very good fit. I can hear the boosted bass but it doesn't bloat or spill into the mids. I find these much more enjoyable than the F9s right out of the box.
Hey, Fiio - when can we expect to see the FH1s on Amazon, and just as importantly, when will you begin selling the other colors? I want you to take my money for something to go with the new Q1 mk2 I got for Xmas, but I'm holding out for blue.

As a basshead I'm loving these. There is some serious sub bass here. At the moment I'm using the Schiit Bifrost Uber + Lake People g109 amp. Not sure how they sound out of mobile devices, but I'm really liking the sound.
I can vouch for the cable itself re: sonic quality and durability. It is a very well made cable and amply supple. The only cosmetic change I have noticed over the past 3 month is the oxidization of the wire right near both of the mmxc connectors. It gives a very transparent sound and is definitely recommended. I must add that the braiding done could be better but for the price it is a minor niggle i am willing to overlook. I have been using this cable as my daily driver for the various different iems.

They are more sub bass focused and my music has lots of it. They're not muddy sounding at all. Clarity and soundstage are all good. I like them more than IE80.
