@KuroKitsu, Andrew told me today the PWA cable included with the new Mest will sell for $560.

Ooooof that's a bit pricey compared to the previous one. I wonder how much of the cost is due to the new hardware and UM branding. I don't think it would be that low if it was say Cardas Copper.

Might as well pick up the MKII for it at that point.

More importantly, give it a good thought when ordering MKII to decide which cable termination you need so you can futureproof it But the new cable is definitely a step up from the previous one, especially since it has a standard 2pin connector without that wrap-around plug.



And the new MKII shell is definitely an improvement over the OG, at least to my ears. Besides being more compact, the nozzle angle fit is better with MKII, while I feel a pressure in my earcanal with OG. MKII on the left and OG is on the right:

Yeah, it looks to me like it’s gonna be the new EVE maybe? Or even a new “flagship” IEM in their VE line?

It does seem have the newer semi-custom shell like of the VE line.

I’m secretly hoping for an Elysium successor. Elysium with DD bass would be awesome!
