Not possible with nearly 10W output and no massive heatsinks. At higher levels it would have to be class AB.

Thanks. That's definitely a telltale. Don't need another A+AB amp. Frankly, I am quite pleased with my Muzishare X3T tube amp which is SET Class A with a decent output of 1.5W @ 32ohms. It's why I am still on the fence about ordering an MJ3.

I received my unit. It is iem user friendly. For the sound is very nice. For what gustard told me:low impedance high power is class ab, mid impendence is class a.I guess low power on any impedance is class a but how much power it start class ab i not sure.

I only have a cayin ha1a mk2 desktop and a a&k pa10 portable amp. Very hard for me compare.I can only say is neutral,soundstage is more deeper and i like it most is that it has smooth sounding like you can listen long with no problems.The volume per click very less db increase.For me i tend to increase at least 4-6clicks then i hear much difference im volume.

First of all congratz on your new amp, just like R26/A26 previously it looks nice !

May i ask you if you could try to run it on class A operation for a few hours and report back how hot is the case ? That would be nice, thank you.

About the class a thing i did try ask gustard again over from taobao. He only said low resistance high power is class ab. He never test what at power it trigger to class ab.Now i listen for almost 20-30mins machine is very normal don't feel any increase of temperature.My dap Rs6 more hotter than the amp. My room temperature ard 27° without any aircon or fan on.
