Yes, that's exactly the issue. The USB-C pin also bends so much that the songs stops frequently.
Do a search for "Silicone" cables in Google for your area, there are a ton of this style out there. They are very flexible and any I have had stayed put.

For some reason my new Gold bar doesn't get any power when attaching to iPad. I have tried also with the Go bar cable. Go bar drives normally.

Do I need to update the firmware? Or what?
In the end the Gold bar went totally dead. It didn't react on any device. So unfortunately, I had to send it back to dealer. They don't have replacement device. Hopefully the impoter has any stock left. I really loved it! ☹️

Have anyone faced similar malfunction?
Mine still works on iOS (phone, ipad), a laptop, but not on Android Pixel for some reason. Since I have only one Android device, it could be the device... wasn't able to test with another one.

Just a quick note that new firmware is available in the Download Hub of our website V2.40 can be found here...

Here is the skinny on what's in the update...

XMOS=V2.20 >>>2.40
Fixed the issue where the Filter settings were not retained after reconnecting the USB.
After setting the Filter, if the USB is unplugged and reconnected before restarting, the device would not remember the Filter mode from the previous shutdown.
Implemented a mechanism to prevent sudden volume spikes when using volume synchronization (requires disabling Tidal's average volume switch). Previously, when playing MQA through Tidal (exclusively enabled), there could be sudden spikes in volume. With the optimization, when the Go bar's synchronized volume exceeds 90%, the volume can be adjusted without reaching the maximum level. For volumes below 90%, the volume can be adjusted synchronously.

Thank you! I notice there is also a note regarding "improved playback latency". Does that tweak have any positive impact for users that are otherwise not experiencing the other issues you noted above?

Hi there,new owner here. I was using the Go Bar with a generic usb cable, longer than the original one, and I wasn't that impressed by the sound, a little brittle/digital.
Then I tried the short bundled cable and it seemed so much smoother and organic. Am I immagining this or someone else noticed the same difference?

I believe it to be in a general "Overall" type way, but I will ask for you and update if needed.
