Not with my Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra which has a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2.I am using an LG V50 for, LDAC connection.
But the connection is not that stable. Do you experience the same?

Reconnected and it seems to be fine.
It seems to me that go blue makes more sense than GO pod

Go Pod and Go Blue are both wonderful but have completely different use cases...It seems to me that go blue makes more sense than GO pod

I have Fiio BTR7 which I believe is on par with Go Blue. But Go Pods are for a different use.
As I also have Fiio UTWS5 I find these more practical that Go Pods but the latter sound insanely good. I am sure the second iteration will solve all other issues with Go Pods ( connectivity, controls, app support).

There’s nothing preventing Ifi giving current iteration at least a decent app support with controls configuration. All down to priorities and team capabilities.I am sure the second iteration will solve all other issues with Go Pods ( connectivity, controls, app support).

Hopefully, because it is a hell of a sound device as its hardware is concerned.
What I’m saying is - if they don’t improve on current iteration, there’s absolutely no reason to believe the next one will be any better.Hopefully, because it is a hell of a sound device as its hardware is concerned.

I think with the current state of competition in portable devices they'll have to do it sooner that later.
Have you tried them with power hungry IEMs?

Thanks for the suggestions, they are duly noted!
It is important to realize that the GO Pods were meant to be an "appless" audiophile-type experience focusing on sound quality, not the "need" for an extensive app. More of a "put-them-om-and-go" type of use pardon the pun!
The app has basic settings and firmware updates, of course, this may change in future iterations, but that's what its intention was.
We shall see what future generations may reveal.
Cheers!!

Not challenging the concept in the least bit, just -It is important to realize that the GO Pods were meant to be an "appless" audiophile-type experience focusing on sound quality, not the "need" for an extensive app. More of a "put-them-om-and-go" type of use pardon the pun!

1. The full set of even those basic settings is available on just one mobile platform out of the two mainstream ones. iOS users are limited to an app version released more than a year ago and by the looks of it not receiving any further updates.
2. Firmware update procedure is awfully complicated for a non-techsavvy consumer and is a must for a product having functional issues.

I will have to agree on the firmware updating… even if the only thing the app did was to enable seamless and easy OTA updating of the firmware, that would be a mega win…Not challenging the concept in the least bit, just -

As to iOS support… that’s a whole can of worms related as much to Apple as to iFi… this is a complaint across many products… (not saying it isn’t possible, but there has to be a reason that many products not from Apple have problems with Apple…)

I can agree with this 100% with no arguments from me personally, I am currently inquiring about why no IOS update and promise to answer back here as soon as I have any concrete information. Not challenging the concept in the least bit, just -

As an Apple user myself I see this is the case on occasion, why this is I do not know. I even remember years ago picking up an extremely cheap Android tablet just for some instances. While I am not recommending you do this, it is just to illustrate that in the world of us Apple users, sometimes you need something around of the other platform. I wish it was not this way but sadly it is.
Cheers!!

There are no shortcuts,Ifi should pick one option out of three:I will have to agree on the firmware updating… even if the only thing the app did was to enable seamless and easy OTA updating of the firmware, that would be a mega win…
1. Provide a convenient (for consumer) way to fix issues when they are encountered.
2. Invest a whole lot more into QA prior to releasing the product and then preach about seamless UX. It will never work though, there are always fringe cases.
3. Screw the quality and price the product on par with its peculiar AliExpress counterparts.
I am for one rooting for option #1.

Though having an intuitive app would be nice, I consider some disconnection issues I encounter with the Pods more important.
Eg I lose connection from my left piece sometimes and to bypass that I remove it, put it in the charging case and take it out again to re-establish connection. This happens not if I am distant to the source. It'll happen if I just turn my head for example.
