Thanks for the update. I didn't see the new features. The removal of touch control option should be a lifesaver for me.In case someone hasn’t noticed - iOS Gaia app has been finally bumped to the feature level on par with its Android counterpart. You’ll have the same controls.
@iFi audio cheers!

Ifi-gaia app version should be 1.2.7 and you need to be on the latest FW of course to disable touch. Thanks for the update. I didn't see the new features. The removal of touch control option should be a lifesaver for me.

Here is an answer I received regarding the touch control sensitivity (as an update to my previous post)I find the higher the setting the the worse it is. At 65 it is like a bull in a china shop, but with the setting down at 12 I could tell that as soon as I touched the pod it seemed much more sedate. It's probably just me.
ps -Sorry about the crap analogies!!
"The delay time is inversely proportional to the sensitivity (for example, the more time you increase the delay, the weaker the touch sensitivity will be). When exercising, set the Touch latency to as long as possible or turn the touch function off."
Hope that helps,
Cheers!!

This worked great. I realized for some reason my GAIA app wasn't showing all of the settings. So far the touch controls being disabled worked great!Yep here is a screenshot from my iPhone showing these controls...

I assume “touch latency” = how many milliseconds of touch it takes to activate a button? If so, the higher the value, the less “sensitive” it is.

Tell that to my finger lol. Exactly the opposite for me.I assume “touch latency” = how many milliseconds of touch it takes to activate a button? If so, the higher the value, the less “sensitive” it is.
Merci beaucoup

One of the beefiest set I've ever heard.
Hello everyone,
I have the Hihi go pod which I really like. Maybe some people are asking this question and I haven't found an answer on the thread.
Has anyone tried using high power Iems like the FatFreq Grand Maestro?
Is it enough?
Thank you so much

“Touch latency” = Typical bad wording. Touch controls are the worst aspect of the device. As to user friendliness on these devices, a touch control pad doesn’t compare to a tactile button, other advantages not withstanding.Tell that to my finger lol. Exactly the opposite for me.

I've found very deliberate touches work for me. Just throwing that out there.

Good catch on this. Can confirm that disabling Sound Assistant app seems to fix the problem. So, like 2 weeks ago, I've opened a ticket about an intermittent issue I was facing with my GO Pod:
No Music playback after a WhatsApp call or even a phone call
Ticket, opened on March 1, 2024.
The issue, as it seems, was an App called Sound Assistant (available via the Galaxy Store) which I've installed a couple of months back, after reading a post from @pervysage to help manage the volume steps with more granularity. After disabling, not uninstalling, this App and testing this for 2 days now, I've not encountered this issue again. I've received numerous WhatsApp calls and after ending the call, the playback resumes, no problems at all. I am always referring to my Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra.
I hope my message will help others who might face the same issue.
I would like to kindly ask from all those who have opened a ticket, to report back here when they will resolve their issue, and state the issue, their device(s), the solution offered and how long has it taken to resolve the matter.
Thank you
Unfortunate as Sound Assistant has some really useful features I like to use but will keep it disabled in the meantime.
Upgraded back to latest firmware.. smooth sailing.
Hello everyone,
has anyone used the go pod with iems that require high power like fatfreq?
is that enough?
definitely the keys are really sensitive and sometimes I deactivate them too.
thank you everyone
