I've been using the ifi Blue in the shared home living space but it seems to have a quirk.

I can't connect a device to it if another one is already connected, so that leaves up searching for which laptop or phone is connected everytime we want to use it. I've tried pressing the pairing button but the new device just doesn't pair. My other bluetooth devices don't have this problem.

Does anyone else have this issue? Is there a way around it?

Hi folks ! I have one question:

Do you really feel the difference between LDAC bluetooth and wired connection?
I am testing my Hifiman Edition XS with ifi zen blue v2 connected to ifi zen CAN from my Samsung S10+ via LDAC and I cant tell a difference at all compared to wired connection from ifi zen dac v2 connected to ifi zen CAN...
I have some good quality flac files and I really tried to hear at least some little differences but to be honest I cant....
I am 36 years old and I would say my ears are pretty good and trained, I can hear differences in music resolution and fidelity where my friends barelly feels it.

How is your experience if you tried comparing LDAC bluetooth with a wired connection ?

Hi everybody, I'm using the iFi Audio Zen Blue connected to my TV via Bluetooth and to my speakers via balanced port, and I have an issue that I can't eliminate. I watch Netflix, and everything is fine, but when I open the YouTube app, there is no sound. In order to have the sound, I need to remove the Zen Blue from the list of devices in Bluetooth settings, and then reconnect again. Can anyone advise why is it like that? Thanks!

Hi guys, I am a new Zen Blue owner, upgraded from a Audioengine B1, which doesn't have LDAC. I never even knew about LDAC until I checked out the Zen Blue.
Then, with more research I found out how to get into my Samsung A7 tablet settings to select LDAC. But here is my problem, whenever I select the LDAC settings, it stays selected for about five minutes then reverts to APTX.
Also, the display color doesn't even change while it's on for that five minutes.
So I am not sure whats really going on, if the tablet isn't really sending LDAC, or the Zen Blue not really locking on to it.
So, any ideas, would a newer model tablet or phone be better. BTW, I did do the software update on the Zen Blue, and the tablet is up to date also.
Thanks for any help.

Update,
I found the problem, I was turning on LDAC in the developer settings, but the main place to turn it on is hidden in the bluetooth settings itself.
I clicked on the main bluetooth where it says one item connected, then when it shows ifi hires, there is a settings symbol to the right, then clicking on that shows to connect with LDAC. I turned that on and WOW, everything changed, the settings all changed in the developer section to LDAC, 32bit 96khz, the light on the Zen Blue turned white, and my C47 preamp shows 96khz.
I can't believe it, I have been trying for days, but I just read a early post in the tread where someone had a similar problem, and he fixed it by clicking on the bluetooth button , so I tried that.
It's pretty late now, so I can't do much listening, just thought I would post this while its still fresh in my memory.
Bluetooth has always been my favorite method of streaming, its so easy and straightforward, so I am so happy it has finally gone hirez.

When will you add an update for APTX Lossless?
Hello,

Thanks for the suggestion, I will ask those who may know if this is possible.

I will post back here if I get any information on this, you can also inquire on our support page if this is a possibility.

Cheers!!
