In addition, make sure you are in AIO mode 1, the app does not work for other modes.

After Chord TT2, had replaced my Hugo2, I did upgrade the ZS power supply from ifi iPower-X (15v) to iPower Elite (15v).

Sound quality affected by a small but still noticable improvment.
The sound now is more "airy", better instruments separation and bigger stage. Same black background.

Are there any updates on zen stream playing along with tidals new hi res files?

its been almost 7 months now and we are still waiting for zen stream to get an update that will allow us to play tidals hi ress files....

I certainly don't have any use for mqa and the only reason I keep paying tidal's full tier is to be able to play hi res files....

I play Tidal via Roon. HiRez is delivered via ZS.
Tidal Connect with HiRez files is running on ZS.

As @zolom said this is now possible using Roon, The reason for this is Roon just recently got the Tidal Max update from Tidal.

We are working hard to get our update and get it out to everyone, although I do not have a specific timeline, we do appreciate the patience in this changeover. Hopefully we will be not to far behind with our "Max" update, we are working with Tidal to get it done.

The problem is with Tidal Connect.....I would use roon but it is too pricey combined with tidal which is like 15 euros/month in my country

Also one of the main reasons I chose zen stream was tidal connect....

I hope we will get the update soon maybe I will downgrade my Tidal subscription to hifi tier for now and wait for the update to upgrade again.

Someone posted today in the Roon Forum that Tidal is sending emails announcing that it will merge both tiers into one single service for the price of Tidal Hifi. just named Tidal. I haven't received this email myself (I live in Brazil and subscribe to Tidal hifi) so I don't know if this is for real and everywhere.

I agree, I wasn't suggesting to sub to Roon, more just explaining this is a process, and we are somewhere in that line, but where I do not know.

That may not be a bad idea as well. It would send a message if everyone did that for sure.

They certainly should, they need to get down to competition pricing as all other services are below them now.

A lower Tidal overall price may convince me, but if Qobuz connect gets here first it may be over, lol

Not really being negative. Just imagine the marketing team getting ulcers as they try to juice the engineers into trying to “move this along!”

On that note, agreed to send in ZS for “refresher treatment” last week and waiting for instructions. Need to know where what to send and what to include. Sent a reminder note yesterday but no word as yet. Any ideas?
