Introducing NEO iDSD2! The world's first lossless Bluetooth DAC/Amp...
Mar 12, 2024 at 3:09 PM Post #211 of 252
Hey folks!

I have a question for current NEO iDSD 2 owners here. Currently, our NEO 2 has the feature of muting the analog outputs when headphones are connected to the unit.

The question is, should we retain this as the standard of operation, or offer a setting if possible to turn this on or off depending on the use case?

Mind you this is just a question to judge the feeling of community, and nothing is currently changing for this unit.

Thanks for any thoughts!

Cheers!!

Imho the best option would be to have a dedicated switch, but if that's not possible, the analog should be muted

Thanks for the thoughts! In the case of the NEO 2 if this was to be a possibility it would be inside the menu system, on-off sort of thing.

Cheers!!

I don't own the iDSD 2 (yet), but I currently have the ability to use both with my ZEN stack. As someone who may be looking to upgrade to the iDSD 2 at some point, I would like the option of the setting to enable / disable the output muting.

Hi I was wondering can you connect an android phone wired to play files ..
Thanks
I would imagine that if you had a cable to go from the USB of your phone to the USB B input on the back it may (Should) work, like a Dongle DAC would but I have never tried it, and in all honesty, it's the first time I remember seeing this question. :L3000:

I am sure someone has tried it, and I will check for you!

Cheers!!
