has anyone been able to get EQ apps to work since last update or so PowerAmp EQ is not working, there is cutting and skipping on playing audio via apple music or spotify. Similarly Wavelet is also not getting recognized when turing it on. If its a Bug is there a way to report it somewhere ?
Does anyone know if there is a "vehicle mode" on Shanling M3 Ultra?
If so how well does it work?
I'm looking to upgrade my older FiiO X3 and a small HidizsAP80. I'm looking for a new DAP that i can use to both carry in my pocket and to double as a player in my automobile. My X3 is getting a bit old and AP80 screen is just too small.
I have narrowed down my search to FiiO M11s and Shangling M3 Ultra.
I would prefer the Shangling M3 Ultra over the M11s just due to the size. M11s is on the large size for fitting into my pocket comfortably but i'm not sure about M3 Ultra "vehicle mode"
I know the M11s has a vehicle mode that will automatically turn on the DAP when plugged into power and will automatically turn off power when power is removed. The Fii0 screen will also switch to simplified format for ease of use when mounted in a vehicle. I only plan on using the DAP to play my extensive list of FLAC music. The plan is to keep the DAP plugged into vehicle power and use 3.5 output, always keeping DAP wires plugged in. Store DAP in center console when not in use then when needed take out DAP to dashboard mount.
The only information i found about vehicle mode on Shanling is on the Shanling news for "Setting up Android Player", but I'm not sure this applies to the Shanling M3 Ultra or how well it really works.

I just had a look through the menu on my M3 Ultra and yes it has a vehicle mode under General setting as does my M11 Plus as you are probably aware.
I don't use either of them in a vehicle so I have no idea how well each works and if there are pros and cons with either but the mode option is there on the M3 Ultra.
I'll give a little update with what I've found so far but I haven't had many cycles on the device yet.
The first charge only lasted about 8 hours but that is due to may factors (like updating the music database on UAPP) as well as the battery needing a few cycles before it gets optimal battery life. On the 2 recent cycles, using a mixture of SE and bal, dual DAC on low gain, I'm getting about 12~14 hours until it reaches 30%.
I did restrict CoolApk and APKPure in battery usage as I don't use them but they do draw power if not restricted. If you haven't uninstalled them already and don't want to, I'd restrict them and do some testing with that, it seems to help.
I'll give an update after a few more cycles as I use it more.

would really like you to check whether EQ apps work with streaming services (apple music, spotfy,etc.) like PowerampEQ or Wavelet with latest firmwere updates. Incase you can make it work or there is any workarounds do let us know.

With the latest update to Apple Music they added root verification and unfortunately Shanling M3U doesn't pass the verification, so Apple Music doesn't even start. Has anyone found a fix for this or is Shanling planning a firmware update to fix this?

How to turn the "Auto-update apps" off:
Play Store -> Tap the profile icon on the top right -> Settings -> Network preferences -> Auto-update apps -> Tap "Don't auto-update apps" then OK.
