I find DSD Remastering to do a better job than vinyl for relax mood listening. Though I don’t really like the collapsed soundstage of DSD remastering either.
I guess I am too used to the AI remastering of the DSEE Ultimate. It’s like my default DSP to use as I find the added soundstage layering, frequency refinement and dynamics alteration to help a lot with the music that I have.
As for DC phase linearizer, I think it depends on the headphone/iem. Some sound better on type A while some are type B. As for the low, Std or high, I think it’s also depending on how much bass coloration/bleed you prefer.
