baskingshark

Headphoneus Supremus
Pros: Portable and compact
Elegant and well constructed
Independent volume control, finely tuned steps
Decent power on tap, with single-ended and balanced outputs, with high and low gain settings
No hiss with sensitive IEMs
Good soundstage and imaging
Natural timbre
Has UAC 1.0 mode for gaming devices
Gets slightly warm during usage but not hot
No "pop" sound when disconnecting transducers
Cons: Volume buttons are located in an awkward position
No EQ, DAC filter or app options
No LED screen
Can't drive very demanding transducers (some rival dongles may output more power)
Not the most resolving dongle at this price range

100+ Head-Fier
Pros: - The Ares4W cable provides a balanced sound with a boosted bass, enhancing the overall stage presence.
- The Ares8W cable offers an extended, punchy low-end, providing a more dynamic and impactful audio experience.
- Both cables offer an immersive and engaging listening experience that can keep users hooked for hours.
Cons: - Upgrading to the Ares4W or Ares8W cables can be costly.
- The Ares8W cable is heavier than the Ares4W, which could concern some users.
- The choice between the Ares4W and Ares8W ultimately depends on personal preference, which may make it challenging for some users to decide which cable to purchase.

100+ Head-Fier
Pros: The device offers a range of connectivity options to support different audio sources, including stable Bluetooth connectivity that supports high-resolution codecs like LDAC and AptX HD, as well as independent USB DAC functionality. It also includes multiple headphone output ports to provide added flexibility.
Featuring a sleek and elegant design, the MuseHiFi M4 has a transparent shell that showcases its internal circuitry and a smoothly textured metallic chassis that complements the transparent design. Its compact size and strong output power make it ideal for use on the go.
Cons: While the MuseHiFi M4 performs well with IEMs and moderately sensitive headphones, it may not fully optimize sound quality with high-impedance headphones like the HD660S2 without an external amplifier. This limitation may make it less appealing to audiophiles seeking optimal performance from such headphones.
With seven digital filters available, the MuseHiFi M4 provides users with customization options to achieve their desired sound signatures or address potential shortcomings in sound reproduction. However, some users may prefer a more straightforward audio setup without the need for extensive digital filtering, depending on their personal preferences.

500+ Head-Fier
Pros: Incredibly lush, very satisfying bass, top notch vocals along with mids that are to die for. Treble is well extended but not sibilant or harsh at all. Overall texturing and layering are extremely impressive at this price. It’s a note weight phenom!
Cons: Sub bass may not be enough for bass heads. More of a mid bass set. Detail retrieval may not be as in your face as some would like.

Have you heard the UIEM? It's quite highly rated and would give you a clue about what's really going on. Perhaps ask them for one to compare.

The schedule is just terrible. Kiwi Art Orchestra Lite itself sounds very mediocre, but why pour them into a custom shell.

Headphoneus Supremus
Pros: Decently accessorized

Ergonomic fit
Moderately easy to drive
Clean and fast bass, good texturing
Excellent technicalities
Class-leading soundstage for a midFI single DD, from semi-open backed design

Cons: Shells may be fingerprint or scratch magnets
Below average isolation
Tuning nozzles are gimmicky
Not for bassheads

Pros: Lightweight and comfortable.
Solid strong durable metal construction
Engaging sound
Good bass impact and excellent vocal timbre
Treble is detailed and balanced.
Imaging and soundstage are very good.
Cons: Sub bass roll off so not for bass heads.
Upper midrange can be a little hot on a minority of recordings.

Nice Review first of all. Can you compare it to Anole VX as its also 10BA configuration. I find QDC Anole VX more attacking & faster transient response suited for Rock & metal genres.

@benjifx19 the problem is not only the size of the shell. Also the tubillon is huge.

I dont try the MESTMK3, but the VERDANDI is bigger than the MONARCH.

Sorry for you, because this iem, is probably the best (not counting 12t)
