I am probably gonna get back into the hobby here. I was going to go for the IFI pro IDSD but saw thing thing and am considering it. Any takes on a comparison?

I didn't try the Utopia that way. Plus I do not have one anymore. I believe it will be a great pairing though. I would personally use bit perfect + with tube + and go from there and tweak to see what you like. I for one never have the unit on without using the tube stage.

What amp are you using? Just the amp it comes with?

I am preferring this thing to the Schiit Yggdrasil A2 right now for sure. At least on a first listen. I am really enthused to keep going.

Well...I am not going to say it does bad at a genre but I just recall it doing some songs better than others. I won’t expound more until I have personal time with them. Those were first impressions so add salt where needed.
