Today I actually found the CD that had all the old pics on it and I'm beginning the long process of adding them to my gallery and editing in new links. Even though this is a legacy thread, having it back to 100% will help me sleep a little better at night, lol.

  Something that I've been looking at is the Twisted Pear Audio Retro phono stage: http://www.twistedpearaudio.com/linestages/retro.aspx   I'm interested in it because my rig is fully balanced these days.

The A3X uses class A/B amplification for the mid-woofer whereas the A5X uses PWM, so this makes sense.  Also Stereolink is a super handy feature for sure.  It gets used all the time when I take my A5Xs to friends houses.   Quote:

Most all computer speaker systems will have the sub tuned to be boomy as well as use low quality drivers and amplifiers in general so if clarity is what you seek I'd go in a completely different direction. Maybe something like the M-Audio DX5a or another similar powered studio monitor.
