I have to agree. I love the sound of Edie Current amps, but I haven't found one with sufficient power for AB1266. They sound Great at mids and highs, but not enough oomph for bass.

After 10 years you likely have some debris,dust, hair that mafe it's way past the screen and is touching your driver. Use a 20-30x eye loop to inspect.

I don't own it myself, but a local fellow head-fier has the Tungsten. Tried it on the AIC-10 and it is also another revelation in huge gains in SQ for a HP.

There are a few amps that are end game for TC. I'm currently loving the Riveria AIC-10 with G73R tube and Aluminata PC. This amp Needs clean unobstructed power to be at it's best, would love to see how a power regen would add to it. but of course already better than most with stock cable...

Finally moved up to the TC after 6 + years with the Phi. Thanks @CinnamonToastCrunch for a great sell/buy experience. Will have to list the Phi soon, still a great headphone needs a good home.

Best tube for reasonable cost I've heard is that Mullard Shark Teeth. Get that and don't look back. The G73-R is also supreme, but availability atm and cost is too high. Also, maybe more clinical sound than what most seem to prefer. These two tubes will take the Riviera to it's fullest...
