Are the HD 650 and 600 again Made in Ireland or still Made in Romania? I just noticed that on Sennheiser site they now state this: Or maybe they mean that only the transducer is Made in Ireland?

Has anyone tried Empyrean with GS-X Mini + Chord Qutest? I have this combo and I am thinking about getting an Empyrean + Meze Balanced Silver Plated PCUHD cable. Next "contender" is Diana V2 but I have a feeling that Empyrean is the safer choice.

No, HD 600 with a decent amp like Gilmore Lite Mk2/Asgard 3 are for me in another league compared to the 560 S. Much more pleasant to listen to, more natural.

Soundstage is wider on 560 S but deeper and more 3D on 650. The sound of 650s is just more refined, smoother, more natural, easier to listen to.

Yeah, but you could buy second hand pair of 6XX/600/650 in great condition for the price of new HD 560 S.

I have them from wednesday and I must sadly say that HD 560 S are disappointing for me. They are one step forward and two or three steps backwards compared to the older 600/650. 600/650 sounds just more natural (especially voices/vocals) with better timbre and tone. Of course these are cheaper...

I dont think they are less detailed than 650. Detail and soundstage are pretty good for the price. Despite being more technical than 600 series they are still enjoyable.

Absolutely agree with you even without yet hearing the Empyrean. I had Clear Professional at home for two weeks and found them surprisingly not good enough. After all that hype I was really disappointed. Small soundstage, metallic timbre, sometimes harsh + for the first one hour from unpacking...

Yeah but Gilmore Lite Mk2 may sound better. Amps and DACs are not only about specs but about sound they can produce. BTW, I think that Gilmore Lite Mk2 is one of the favourite amps of Dan.

I would also recommend Headamp Gilmore Lite Mk2. Great little amp. Compared to some cheaper amps like Magni 3+ its more detailed with better soundstage and with more depth to the sound + its wonderfully natural.

Ok, how different are Luna , EX-800 , Dita Answer and Dita Truth? For me is much easier to buy EX-800 or Dita. I really need to know what is the "best". I have EX-600 and its a bit harsh so EX-1000 is maybe too harsh for me.

A2O is for me more musical and immersive than Focal Clear so I think its on another level compared to Sundara.
