I used to struggle with this as well but using double flanges made a big difference for me.

Sennheiser IE900 Review, Measurements, & Harman Target Talk

Do yourself (and your wallet) a favour and don’t go around spending lots of money on cables. They make very little if any difference sound wise. If you want better comfort (which I suspect to be the case), I understand wanting something with less memory for example and in that case I wish you...

    Earbuds Round-Up

Are there any extremely small earbuds? I mostly use etymotic Er4xr or headphones nowadays because most other iem simply don’t fit my ear (concha and canal are small). Is there any earbud that may fit smaller ears while sounding good? Max budget around 300 EUR (can raise if absolute Goldilocks...

If you’re willing to fork out more there is technics EAH-Tz700 but that’s also very bassy!

I think he may be hinting at the fact that they previously supplied only tri flange and now offer double flange. If they are the ones default installed on the iem, maybe that’s what he meant?

Is this Is this one deep enough? My ears (cavity and canal) are very small so I’m not sure whether they will go much deeper.

Sennheiser IE900 Review, Measurements, & Harman Target Talk

I used to get it from Amazon. Personally I have struggled with tons of IEM to get a great fit. So much so that I use headphones now more than I do IEM but IE900 was one of the more comfortable ones I ever had the pleasure of using. Even with stock tips I found them excellent but I have to put...

Focal Stellia Review, Measurements, Interview - Head-Fi TV

@AussieMick Don’t bother ;) I’ve tried to understand Leonasj or converse but it’s pretty pointless in my opinion.

Focal Stellia Review, Measurements, Interview - Head-Fi TV

I don’t know if it’s less loud / powerful but 70-80 is very loud on my sp1000m

Focal Stellia Review, Measurements, Interview - Head-Fi TV

I don’t know how powerful they are but on a SP1000M I didn’t even go above 30/150 😂 I just listen at the volume where I can hold my headphones at arms length of me without hearing what’s playing. (Certainly safe volume to listen)

I tried them with a SP1000M and found them very enjoyable!

    Technics Premium Stereo Earphones EAH-TZ700

Well there are some who make excellent DD as well. For example the Senheisser IE series!

Focal Stellia Review, Measurements, Interview - Head-Fi TV

I don’t have an IFI Go Blu but I really loved the sound of Focal Stellia. It’s probably the best for my tastes and head/fit I’ve ever tried (including ZMF, Audeze, DCA closed backs)

    Focal For Bentley Radiance Headphones

To be honest you are comparing apples with oranges here? The radiance is a closed back while the Arya Stealth to my knowledge are only open backs? So I’d advise to make that decision first? Do you need closed back or can you use open backs? I think in general as well you need more power to...

    Earbuds Round-Up

Thank you! I’ll take a look at it! It’s this one you refer to I take or are there different versions with different cables? I doubt listing as it says original price over 600 EUR… https://m.nl.aliexpress.com/item/1005003535186948.html?gatewayAdapt=glo2nld

    Earbuds Round-Up

I have similar preferences and want to get a TOTL earbud. Are there any TOTL earbuds that are great for “small outer ears/concha area” (canal as well but matters less for earbuds)? By preference with detachable cable!

Indeed your house is to put it into your language “2SMALL4U” and “2MESSY4ME” 🤭🤣

So mature! It’s pretty sad but you can’t reason with idiots because they will bring you down to their level and beat you with experience.

    Audio Recommendations for Classical

I think this is very fair criticism. To be honest I listen to a lot of genres and hardly get to use open backs and my main closed back is the Focal Stellia which I personally also enjoy for classical music but there are certainly better options out there if you want to optimise probably. For...

Any post DCA Stealth closed-back flagships?

I don’t know why but somehow I feel like the Focal Stellia are still the best closed back for my preferences. It can also be due to sealing issues with lots of other headphones but the Stellia truly sound and fit the best for me.

    Focal For Bentley Radiance Headphones

Maybe I shouldn’t fight an uphill battle but to be honest, you aren’t reading with the intent of understanding what other people are trying to convey. You started by publicly calling out someone on their (in your opinion) overpriced listing. When they actually ask you to backup your claims(...

Tbh I doubt you can get Stellia new for 2000 euro unless you refer to without VAT.

What is the best audio system in the world, in the scale S.Q. /price ratio ?

Just pure value and max use cases? AKG k371? I can use it anywhere and I don’t need a portable dac / amp.

    T+A Solitaire T Wireless Headphone

Also curious to see opinions on this but I think likely it’s a question of usability. SQ is likely better on the Meze. Comfort also better on Meze I guess. However they aren’t wireless and don’t offer the same use cases. Going for a walk with the Meze is not going to be exactly practical...
