I use equalizer APO with an ifi zen dac. It works great. I don't equalize my speakers or my microphone, just my different headphones, but if you already have the profiles set up you just change what device you are using the equalizer with on the settings.

I haven’t tried that with this particular profile, but I do preamp in Oratory’s. I don’t use this one too often, but that might be a good idea even though I don’t hear any audible clipping. Good catch!

Yes! I was going to recommend EQ'ing the 660s to have more bass. Free is always the best option. Enjoy what you have even more.

I have not read about the HIDIZS. The external power source is your phone's battery or your laptop/PC, wherever you plug it in.
